🛋️ Room Makeovers
by Mel
Turning your bedroom dream into a beautiful reality. Inspired by the transformation Mel created in her own room.
Phase 1: Exploring & Testing
What is this?

Mel helps people transform a room in their home. The customer having to figure everything out themselves. The customer shares what they want, Mel uses AI to build a visual concept, then selects real products from stores like Walmart, Target, HomeGoods, and Amazon. A handyman partner does the heavy lifting. Mel handles the final touches and styling.

Over time, this can grow into a local home styling service. Right now, the focus is testing the idea with real people and learning what works.

How it works
1
Customer shares their room Customer
They describe their wish: a style, a feeling, a budget, and share photos of the current room. They fill out a simple form online or talk to Mel directly.
2
Mel creates a concept Mel
Using AI tools, Mel puts together a visual mood board showing what the room could look like. She selects 5 to 10 real products available at major stores that fit the customer's style and budget.
3
Customer reviews and confirms Customer
The customer sees the concept and the product list. They can ask to swap items, adjust the budget, or approve it as-is. Once they're happy, they move forward with the product selections.
4
Handyman sets everything up Partner
A trusted local handyman delivers and assembles the furniture, mounts items, and does the structural work. The customer pays the handyman directly for this service.
5
Mel adds the final touches Mel
Once everything is in place, Mel goes in to arrange, style, and make the room feel finished: pillows, plants, décor placement, lighting. This is where her eye and heart come in.
